Out of hours scanner process
How an out of hours order is managed from the 6th January 2020.
Once an out of hours call is processed the out of hours customer services team will contact the assigned-on call technician.
At the point of contact an order number will be given to the technician, this will then need to be self-manifested.
How to self manifest
Access the driver menu on your scanner, from there select the self-deliver/collect option. You can then input your order number and manifest. This will then allow you to work with the job as needed.
Once the order is manifested, this then needs to be closed in real time using the scanners.
All techs for the first few initial weeks of go live are being advised to continue to use the paperwork as normal for sense checking purposes.
Sweeper
Please note at 11pm on an evening the sweeper will un manifest any jobs which have not been completed. So please ensure jobs are either completed before 11pm or manifested after 11:05pm
If no job number has been given for an order, please complete using the standard out of hours paperwork.
